Oasis Women – Movie Afternoon

Oasis Women invite all ladies to a Movie Afternoon!
We will be watching Redeeming Love (you can watch the trailer here). There will be time to chat, popcorn, and a lolly bar. After the movie, Emma will share a talk on God’s Love, based on the Old Testament book Hosea.

Redeeming Love was originally a novel written by Francine Rivers. The book points the reader to God’s unconditional, redemptive, all-consuming love. Based in the 1850s in California gold country. The book and movie tell the story of a girl called Angel who expects nothing from men but betrayal. Sold into prostitution as a child, she survives by keeping her hatred alive.
Michael Hosea meets Angel and obeys God’s call to marry Angel and to love her unconditionally. While her bitter heart begins to thaw feelings of fear drive her away. Ultimately Angel learns that her healing must come from the One who loves her even more than Michael Hosea does…the One who will never let her go.
